Who is Kjersti?
Or maybe your question is: how the heck do you pronounce Kjersti....??!! (answer = chesch-ti) Kjersti is an American/Norwegian girl, (American mother, Norwegian Father) born and raised in a small town in Norway called Snåsa. For the last 5 years she has been living in NYC. She grew up surrounded by music and a lot of open outdoor spaces and gorgeous nature (that she of course took for granted while living there.) She was surrounded by a culture that romanticized "old fashion" customs and ways of living (Not knowing this would actually be helpful for many different reasons later in life.) She would move away from home to pursue her music education (starting at age 15.) After that she wouldn't stop at anything, and ended up taking a Bachelor's, a Master's and a Teacher's Degree, in Norway and in New York City, all within the field of music. She settled in NYC and began her life as a freelance musician, composer and performance artist. Her passion for the environment, the animals, health and true wealth led her to start a business that could feed her, her dog (Gwennie) and her husband while she was following her heart within the field of music, not the dollars. That is the whole story, and that is how it works. Green Heart was a Cleaning Service when started, and is now an information site. The Information is provided for no cost at the moment, because Kjersti believes very strongly in the importance of Green Information.
